Hedrich Michaelsen, President and Founder
Hedrich was first introduced to FileMaker (then called FileMaker II) in 1989. She quickly became addicted to this amazingly flexible tool and helped revolutionize the nonprofit where she worked at the time. In 1994, seeking new challenges, she started First Base Data Systems. Since that time, she has provided services to many clients, large and small, in a variety of sectors.

Hedrich has been certified for the FileMaker 7, 8 and 9 product lines and has attended every FileMaker Developers Conference since 1997. In her free time, she enjoys bicycling and gardening.

Phil Tomlin, Office Manager
Phil joined First Base in August 2008 as Office Manager after many years as Service Manager of Freewheeling Bicycles in Austin. He keeps our day to day operations flowing smoothly.
